I need help with the A/C system...
ok, i bough the a/c compressor and it's new i replaced it, but then when i turn on the a/c to test it the clutch doesn't spin. The refigerator air is full, the a/c fuses are fine, i mean verythings look good, but how come there no cold air. any idea?? maybe because of the electric system?? or the switch of the a/c system?? thanks in advanced
with a test light you could check for power to the clutch, Do the cooling fans come on? did you vacum down the system? How much freon did you shove into the system?
I tested the clutch with the 12v of electric while turn the A/C on and the clutch did kick in and started to spin. The cooling fan didn't blow and maybe because of the engine not hot enough. anyway about the A/C relay fuse is fine, np with that. I think it's the PRESSURE SENSORY OF A/C...because when it has to have enough pressure acts on the sesory to turn on the switch that leads an electric current toward the clutch and A/C kicked in...but i'm not quiet sure. By the way the Pressure in A/C pipe is 75atm pressure... let me try to change the pressure sensory switch see what happens...thanks for your help... i will post what will happen....
