u will get flame for not searching but i personally own a JDM ITR 4.7 FD tranny with LSD and its awesome. the gear ratios are like a b16 from 1-3 and has GSR 4-5. with the added fun of LSD and the 4.7 FD.. youll top out your speed much faster. definitely go with the ITR

1st gear is the only ratio difference from both tranny's

ITR- 3.230
B16- 3.307

all other gear ratios are exactly the same

the good thing about LSD is that both wheels spin, on point with each other... and if you happen to snap an axle... you'll still be able to drive the car (life saver)

ITR!

Use the ITR with the 4.7 FD and LSD. the close gear ratios should get u into your power band pretty quick

why is everyone so subjective? What is your maximum engine speed your revving to? where is your peak power and peak tq? And is it all top end power, or lots of midrange?

There is no best tranny if you don't take at least these factors into consideration. Ever see someone run faster or slower with a JDM itr tranny? It happens both ways.

Yup^^^^ An ITR is the the end all-be all tranny. It's great, but there are other factors to this choice. That's why I posted the gear ratios 11 posts up

Well, that's the thing, i don't think it's the end all be all, know what i mean. GSR is a great tranny too, just have to have the right tq curve for it to benefit the taller gears.

Exactly. I have a B16(for another 2 weeks). My tranny is almost perfect. It would be better with an ITR FD, but otherwise great for my torqueless ***
