ok guys i am adding a del sol on the 23rd to my car arsenal. my question is can you add the trans top to a del sol? is there a place that sellls this or what? i have searched but no luck

 

ive seen quite a few posts with people getting trans top assemblies shipped from japan over here, ive never seen a successful install though

 

Sounds like a lot of work if you don't get a rear clip. I can't imagine how hard it would be trying to piece it out.

 

yeah, that is a pricey addition. Rear clip would be easiest I imagine. I remember reading some about them when I had my Sol, i heard they are prone to break and not really worth it unless you show the car.

 

there is a guy in canada that successfully did it. it a very very long involved process. you need the whole rear cut, i think this guy got it for around a grand. i believe he's on car domain, try a search and check it out

 

heh not i it that big a deal im about to start my rhd conversion on my hatch so i will be pretty bisy for awhiel anyway
