ok i have this whole thing confused in my head ppl told me that a B18b(ls) would juss fit in my car with a few extensions to wires a mods ivac. OK but i found a B18a off a 91 Integ with everything on it would it be the same thing or would i get into more Problems???

 

What kind of car do you have Im assuming a 92 civic an above. In that case you can not swap a '91 b18a1 motor in you car because it wont pass smog. If you have a 92-95 civic the engine compartment is almost identical to the 94-97 teg. So swapping a ls motor would be a very basic swap. good luck with your car.

 

thanks man and my car is 98 honda civic Dx HB so i should juss go for a B18b instead or a B18a?? which one would be a better choice

 

i don't think he has to worry about the underhood check in jersey. BUT, go with the b18b because you will have to source a new trans as the b18a one (if it is a complete swap) will have a cable tranny, which you cannot use in your 98 civic.

 

Yea but the thing is ppl are selling me a B18a for 250 dollars running great but i kno about the tranny one of my friends blew his tranny so i could sell it to him for 200 buck so i would get it back but would that be a good Choice instead of paying 800 for A b18b???? also i would like to kno what exactly i would need to mod to install in my car thanks for the ADVICE but need info on the swap thanks
