Default 88-89 CRX middle blue gauge plug - what's it wired to?

Hi All,

I swaped in an EDM gauge set in my CRX, and everything works fine. There are 3 plugs for both gauge clusters (12-pin on the left, 5-pin blue in the middle, and an 8-pin on the right). I wired the Left and Right plugs correctly and just left the middle blue plug disconnected.

For the sake of curiosity...
On the EDM gauges the middle blue plug only has one Green/Red wire that I believe is for the Low Fuel Light, and my US 89 CRX (I believe it was an Si at one point) has three wires going into the middle blue plug (see pic below). Anyone know what they are for????

Thanks.

I don't have a clue, but I would also like to know. Some clusters have them and some don't- even same same year, same trim level models. I can't even find these on the cluster wiring diagram.
