The engine i bought has the a/c compressor on it already. NOw every other thread(believe me i've read at least 20 topics on this already) is saying if i want to keep my D series a/c i'd need this del sol bracket or honda crv bracket. My question is...why cant i just use the a/c compressor mounted already on my GSR motor? Just let me know if I dont have any other choice but to get the bracket and i will.

 

You possibly could use the compressor that already comes on the B-series motor, but (1) you would need to have new lines fabricated, (2) the compressor could be in bad condition, particularly if it was opened to the air all this time, and (3) there may be clearance issues due to the larger size of the B-series compressor.
