Stripped Fuel Rail stud holes.... need some sugestions?
I purchased a gsr skunk2 manifold awhile go here on HT. When it cams it had a broken brake booster nipple so I fixed that, but now I have another problem. THe fuel rail holes are stripped and now I have a fuel leak since it's not tight enough. Are there any studs that are bigger (diamerter) that I can screw in there (soft metal). I was able to screw in my brake booster with teflon for a tight seal, but can i do this with studs? Please tell me if you know of any studs that are bigger, my car has been sitting for 3 weeks.
Either heli-coil it or put in timeserts. Then use studs not bolts and loc-tite those bitches in there. That would be your best bet.
