Is rod knock more noticable in gear or out?

Is rod knock more noticable in gear or out?

As the title says. I think i have rod knock but i think it may also be my axles.

id say it will be more noticeable under a load

Rod knock is heard 2 blocks down the street. If you have to think if you have it or not then you dont. Probably a bad axle if its under load only, probably valves if its everytime else.

you better hope its axles and not rod knock. but if you can hear it when it idles then its rod knock but if you are driving and it clicks then its an axle

You can deff tell the diff between rod knock and axles clicking.. axles pop usually when your making a turn. Rod knock KNocks whenever you give it gas.. I know cause my b16 just spun a rod 2wks ago...
