Default Getting rid of AC add a roof scoop?

I'm thinking about getting rid of my AC; however, it gets pretty hot down here and my civic is a dark color already so Im considering adding a roof scoop. The rice factor really bothers me so I'm thinking about somthing like a NACA duct style scoop and try to keep it invisible from the sides.
Anybody have any thoughts on this, bottom line if its not functional its not worth it to me.

I think it would be pointless. if you want air from the roof in get umm...a moonroof. or put your windows down.

Just keep this in mind: the interior of a car without A/C will always be 15-20 degrees hotter than the outside temperature. And A/C only weighs about 50 pounds. You could very well end up regretting your decision to toss the A/C as you drive around in a hot car that is really no faster.

Not gonna be any cooler than driving with your windows down.

OH, LOL, if you have a hatch, don't drive with the hatch opened either. It causes a vacuum from underneath you rear bumper to enter the cargo area. YOU get nothing but exhaust and die. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
