it's my understanding that a resistor box is to run low impedence injectors with high impedence drivers. f it. this is retarded. i'm going to flow test the d15 and zc injectors i have tomorrow so i'll know the impedence of both and if the d15 injectors flow close to the same, i'm just going to use those. i just want to drive this f'n car again. i miss autoxing.

just got done flow testing both sets of injectors and the results really surprised me.

the d15b7 injectors have 168,000+ miles on them and flowed within 1.5% (26.5 lbs/hr to 26.1 lbs/hr)

the zc injectors supposedly have around 40,000 miles on them (but i have no way of knowing for sure) and had a 4% difference

plus, the d15 injectors had a nice, even conical spray pattern where as the zc injectors sprayed like ****. i cleaned and backflushed both sets before testing them so dirt/carbon shouldn't have been a factor.

would have guessed the d15 injectors would have been way more 'off'

anyway, the del slo should be up and running again this weekend after a 4 year rest and hopefully i'll be autoxing sunday morning.
