Pro 1's are very similar to the s2's beside the huge primary lobe of the pro's which will lead to more idle problems i doubt any power increase from switching from s2's to pro1's and the fact that cams have 10k shouldnt affect the performance one bit.

i have pro1's and believe me, the idle problems are no joke, sometimes i don't even want to drive the car, especially in traffic

Switching from S2S2's to Pro1's will give you more midrange and less top end.

Switching from stg2 to Pro 1's will increase the mid range and be about the same on top. Atleast on my dyno, the pro1's make more all the way to 8000 RPM.

is there anything i can do, like port work to the head to make the pro 1's produce some power at top end? and maybe a smsp header?

What headers do you have now?

The better the air flow the more the cams will peak at correct Don? Meaning if you buy a better header, like an SMS, then his cams should peak higher.

Stock headers and ex. will limit ANY cam you install. Same as using a a d-15 CX stock intake system on your 2.0 with cams.

pro1's are an excellent cam.....

i'm using them on my build that'll be done in a month or so.
Hope to get the 200 mark for sure.

no point in buying a whole new cam, more head work, header,IM, would most likely be the best decision for power in your situation.

what are you using to tuning with. some time on the dyno with a good tuner will get there, but you will need to do the things already suggested first. GL

Why the hell did you ruin your own post by erasing all of your comments?
