how do i wire vtec to a 94 cx harness?? im droppin in a jdm d15, i dont need that harness do i?

 

Basically, run a wire from the VTEC solenoid to A4

 

JDM harness usually doesn't work (LHD vs RHD) - and plus you just need to wire up VTEC Solenoid and VTEC Pressure Switches, I believe.

No pressure switch on JDM engines

 

 

Ok I am confused from other answers I got.

92 cx. I have a 93 ex/si harness.

vtec is wired for sure. So the O2 4 wire is also prewired to shock tower and harness is plug and play. No rerunning wires from ecu.

That is what I gathered from pictures.

Yes, since yours is a 92, you won't need to run a VTEC wire from the shock tower to the ECU.

 

I understand that. My main issue right now is O2 sensor, is that plug and play as well with harness and shock tower.
Everything here appears that way.

yes its plug and play if you use an EX/SI engine harness. But correct me if I am wrong but if you use the D15B's ECU you can just use the CX's one wire O2 because the D15B on uses a one wire.

yeah dependent on your ECU i think

 

im running p72 with jdm gsr and no pressure swwitch

EX/Si harness isnt exactly plug and play on a 93-95 chassis. It will still require you to wire in VTEC/OIL pressure. On the 92 ONLY, it is plug and play however in terms of that. In terms of the 4 wire O2 deal, the ex/si harness is plug and play with a 4 wire o2.

 

hmmm you all make it seem so difficult just run your wires directly from the siliniod to the ecu. such as i did problem solved no splicing wires on the harness, i have a 95 cx vtec works fine.

What you need to do is post in the ACCORD forum. This is the Civic forum not a free-for-all.
