hi peps. i know not the best but i just got it. 2001 GS INTEGRA AUTOMATIC.

its slow put it that way. any help or ideas to give me some more power. i put a cold air intake in so thats that. anything else?

Yeah.. you should get MT, and uh.. is it slower than a normal GS or are you just saying you want more HP from stock?

At this point your best upgrade is Auto -5spd. If you want to go bigger, buy a 5spd GSR. You want better? of course you do. 5spd Type-r. Remember if your going to mod, mod a good platform.

Think about it. Is it worth dropping the money in for the swap, or easier to sell it and buy a faster car? Is it worth putting money into the car, you will never get back?

Buy another integra that have a more powerful engine. If not an integra, any car with more power will probably do what you want.

I agree with this, but if all he wants is a little more power, he could do many things. In my opinion, I would never buy an AUTOMATIC car unless I had to commute to Los Angeles every day. It's just not my preference even though I've seen some badass Automatic Camaros.

 

yeah... ^ what he said. I hate to be that guy... but it's kinda pointless with that auto tranny.

 

An automatic transmission will hold boost while shifting. This is one of the reasons 300zx Twin Turbo automatics were faster than the 300zx Twin Turbo 5 speed cars. It all really depends on your goals for the car. I guess that would only matter if you added boost.

i would say leave the engine alone and just JDM the outside but you should have never bought that automatic , but if you want...just buy that 5 spped, youll feel a huge difference
