check engine light solution needed

Default check engine light solution needed

check engine light doesnt work when i turn the ignition to II. everything in the gauge is working. could it be the ecu?

yes i have tried that and i have also tried using a seperate led light to check but still t wont work. anyone?

Get a wiring diagram and start checking your powers and grounds. It could be the ecu but that is a pretty expensive guess don't you think?

how could you tell if the ecu is damaged?

update! now my car wont start! i dont know why! there is gas, engine rotates then it feels like its gonna start but then it doesnt. battery is fine. also, i think i can hear the exhaust firing(like when a car is about to start) but it just doesnt get started.

throwing a check engine light? check for it.

Try a different ecu maybe.

what type of car ???? ,.... try changing the ecu to the same one .... the ecu might be the problem ,.....lmk

sometimes even corrosion on the terminals can cause bad connections on the relay.. you can test it with a multimeter or just get a new one and hope thats your problem
