Default smoke while decelerating?

i just finished my turbo install and i get some blue smoke when im decelerating. someone said it might be the valve seals, but could it be anything else? it never smoked before the turbo install.

usually oil burning under decel and after sitting overnight means valve stem seals. See if you get any oil burning when you start the car up in the morning

usually valve seals are the culprit

no smoke when i start it up. its 100% only when the car is warmed up. how could i see if its the valve seals or rings? leakdown test? compression is 170-180 across. if i take it outta gear and slow down theres no smoke only when i leave it in gear and slow down.

doesn't seem like leadown would show you what the stem seals are doing if the valves are closed and sealing properly.

wouldnt my compression be lower with bad valve seals? i gotta find a leakdown tester, how much does a mechanic charge anyway?

Well D/C IC pipes won't do anything. D/C the turbo. Maybe it's just the turbo

it is your drain line make sure it is big enough and straight as possible and doesnt go up hill. make sure you dont have too much oil and if all of that checks ok then it is your turbo seals. you decelerate then oil goes to the front of the pan therefore your drain doesnt drain as good.
