Prelude Calipers/Rotors on Teg
Howa hard is it to fit 93 Prelude (VTEC) Calipers/Rotors to a 94 GSR Integra. I've heard it's pretty much a strait bolt on, except you have to add some washers or something? to get the calipers aligned up right? This should give me a Type R brakeing system, right?
93-96 Prelude VTEC front rotors are 11.1". The 92-96 Prelude Si front rotors are only 10.2". The rear rotors are 10.2" on both.
But the rotors are not going to fit an Integra anyway... The 92-96 Prelude is 4x114 bolt pattern like the Accord. The 'Teg bolt pattern is 4x100...

I have this exact combo on my civic. Have the rotors redrilled to 4x100 at a machine shop and that is all the fabrication you need. Type r calipers are the same as accord wagon calipers so just buy which ever is cheaper at your local junkyard.
The calipers fit the rotors fine, no fabrication required,

what is the exact model Accord/Prelude that has the 11.1" Rotors and type R size Calipers?
Also, are the SI calipers the same as the calipers that fit the 11.1" Rotors?

Accord Wagon Calipers... not sure what year.
Prelude Si calipers are not the same as the Type R calipers

Or '98 -'02 Accord V-6 calipers, which need no machining of the bracket at the mounting point, but will need material removed from those places on the inside that are proximal to the rotor for the sake of clearance.
Like I said earlier, check w/ Brian at FastBrakes. Not all cars need the same amount of material removed. Some rotors (e.g., Stoptech) will clear a caliper w/ no modification, while others won't. Relying on the anecdotal posts here will get you in trouble b/c some combinations won't work together. You need a clear vision of what you want to do before buying parts.

you should use the acura legend GS '95-'96 two-piston calipers. They bolt right up to the prelude.
Problem is, they are going on an Integra, not a Prelude.
