my friend has a knockoff tial and it works great and another friend has a knockoff ssqv and that works great as well, dont know about the greddy RS but im sure it works fine just watch for leaks... I know im gonna run a tial knockoff from ebay so ill let you know.

 

I just put the same bov on my b16 delsol ,and for the price you cant come close, sounds really really good, i wouldnt recomend over 1bar of boost,the valve inside is plastic, but im running 8psi for about aweek now,and got atleast 200 hard boosted miles and is working perfect

 

yeah that greddy type rs bov knock off works great. i wish my 300 dollar turbosmart sounded like that

 

The ebay BOVs work great.Never seen a problem with one yet and i have installed/used quite a few different ones.

 

i have a knockoff rfl on my car... one of the first turbo parts I bought 3 years ago and still works fine. Never had a problem with it. prolly going to upgrade in the near future though to a Tial for piece of mind.

 

I ran the knock off tial till i bought my buddys real one... it worked GREAT, scared old ladies and ****... niice crisp LOUD sound to it at 10 psi SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE TIAL, and its 50mm, so its very efficient. ....15 pounds coming in two weeks, cant wait to hear it then.

Id go witth the knock off tial.

Moral of the story is that its hard to expletive a blow off valve up.... I wouldnt buy a knock off wastregate or anything, but my experience with the fake tial BOV was a positive one

 

im going to be the first one to say bad things about my knockoff greddy type s off ebay. I had a real greddy s and a kid offered me 200 and i figured id buy a knockoff on ebay for 50. Well i was running 9psi on it for a while, but now it wont let me run over 6. It leaks, and is just garbage. Not saying not to buy one, maybe its just my luck. I rarely hear bad about them, but good luck man

 

try making the spring tighter?

Well from my personal experience, i ran 9 psi daily and 16 psi every now and then so my knock out work fine

 

Well Do u want a blow off valve for the " Sweet Sound it makes"

Or Do You want it for a performance purpose?

For the noise.. get the ebay one

If you want a full recirculation BOV then get somthing that costs more

 

how much performance can you really gain from a BOV.
