P08 ecu help.
Yeah My orignal ecu is a PM5, d15b2. and Its like almost twice as big as the p08. Is it supposed to be that small? And when u open it, its like kinda empty compared to my pm5.
The P08 is a JDM OBD1 Ecu. It uses the CEL to flash the codes unlike the OBD-0 ECUs that blink the little red LED you know of. OH and the P08 is basically a JDM version of the USDM P28 except the P28 uses a 4-wire Oxygen Sensor and has slightly different fuel & ignition maps.
In order to check the codes of the P08 you need to short out your Service Connector. The CEL will flash. Read it exactly like the Red LED.
JDM Case ECU's are smaller. Some people like that. Empty looking? Yup, don't need all them 'extra' parts any more
