Default Vaccum problems on Ls-Vtec?? PLEASE HELP!

We just did an Ls V-tec conversion on my 95' Acura Integra LS. We swapped a 00' Civic Si head on, and everything went pretty smoothly until we went to start up the car. There's a VERY violent shaking that at first we thought was the valve lashings bein a little off, we adjusted that, and it stopped a little bit of the shaking, but not all of it. We were able to determine that the PVC valve was bad, but when we replaced it, the shaking was still there, and just a piece of hosing going from where the PVC goes to the vacuum line on the intake manifold gets more of the vibrations to go away than having the PVC valve on it. Has anyone ever heard of this before??? If so, any suggestions would be awesome.
