Default b16 lots of noise after valve adjustment

After doing the adjustment the first time set the valve specs .006 intake .007 exhaust and started it up and now theres alot of clacking noises on idle and driving. I made sure the motor was cold I cant understand where a problem might have occured. I just finished doing the adjustment 3 times. Can anyone help??
the manual says there should be a slight drag. anyone who has alot of experience adjusting valves please help. I hope nothing major has happened. Thanks guys

r u sure u tightened them down enough? usually a clacking sound indicates a loose valve.

what about when you use the feeler and drag it back and forth does anyone kno if its suppose to feel a lil bit on the tight side? or should it glide back and forth with ease.

u sure you did it in the correct order. its suppose to be 1, 3, 4, 2 and you have to put the cylinder to TDC before you adjust the valves

i started by setting the crank to tdc adjusted #1 cylinder then cylinder#3 turned the up marks to the 9 o'clock pos, then #4 turned the up marks to 6'oclock, then #2 turned to 3'oclock pos. i assume this is the correct order please correct me if this is wrong. thanks
