Default elec. oil pressure gauge question..

Can I just tap right into the stock oil pressure wire or will this not give me an accurate reading? or should I just use the sender unit that came with the gauge.?

its not going to work with the stock sensor, thats just a pressrue switch which will throw a light if it goes under 5psi. u need to use the sender that comes with teh guage.
