i got a 93 ls with a broke t belt, guy said it happened when he was comming around the corner of his street, which the way it was he couldnt have been going very fast

shoul di just slap a new belt on and see what happens? or whats the best way to check for damage, do i have to pull the head?

p.s. i know jack shht about b series, only familiar with sohc

 

i would say just replace it an see what happen. btw also change the water pump.

to check for bent valves....
