Default Need help: fried ignition

Hey guys. I got crane HI-6 amplifier and PS92 coil. My friend installed it and ever since, ive been having
hell with it. I wish i was still stock. Well, so far, my coil wire fried and just today, my distributer cap fried
where the coil wire connects to it. Tomorrow, im going to change out my old spark plug wires and spark
plugs. Does anyone know the reason for all this frying? I'm also thinking of rerouting the wires to make
sure they don't ground.

it might have been installed improperly and not covered up well.
