Default type r/sir-g front end?!..

now im debating from the two, what exactly is the difference from the two? type r seems more pricey then the sir-g. But they seem to look the same.

Is there any advantage on having either one?

nope...except that the itr one may look better due to the fact it has the black housing headlights..but you can always swap out the sir-g ones for the black housing ones, or even the HID ones.

pretty much the same, so the sir-g is cheaper, but then again you'll end up spending extra $$ just to get black housing and a lip, which will ultimately cost more then the type r or around the same? i assume, so might as well go with a type r then right?

type r is better then sir-g. reason why is becuase the type r headlight is black housing. cost more then the sirg. Sirg headlight is clear price is lower the the type r.. also sir doesnt come with the jdm itr lip, and the the type r comes with a lip

if you do get the sir-g, there is a writeup on this board for how to make DIY black housing headlights from chrome SIR-G headlights.. other than that you won't get the HIDs or the lip

yes you can, but jdm itr lip cost 250 or even more

hmo price for jdm front end

type r 1650 with black housing and lip

sirg 1300... no lip, no black housing

what do you prefer? no doubt type r is a better deal cuz black housing headlight cost way more the sirg but is up to you i got a type r and i love black housing, sir g doesnt look right

yea that sinful guy had it on his car, but the lip is not the same. the height of the lip is different. the oem 1 make your car drop 1 inch lower then the jdm ****. plus jdm **** is out of stock. i call them already, they wont be having it til another week or so

if i have a choice. i pick type r over sirg. with 350 more i can get a lip and black housing headlight. instead of buying a type r aftermarket lip, and DIY your paint, which can cause the headlight to fog later on

Thanks guys for the input!!, very helpful on my decision. I have a couple of friends who can get me the front end, not sure yet on a price quote. Most likely get the non hid ones, but the again i can just get the type r with non hid, and just buy aftermarket hids like mculloch or sumtin right? the light output and all, won't look the same but i mean it has projector lights on the non hid's right??
