Default What's the difference? - DC2 Integra USDM, JDM, EDM, Type R, SiR-G, GS-R

I'm picking up a 95 GS-R soon and needed some tech help regarding what JDM, EDM and Type R parts that are available for it. I'm looking for the differences between the USDM GS-R parts and the JDM and EDM parts as well as the USDM Type R and JDM Type R parts and ther differences between the two, if any. I'm interested in all OEM parts from motor/performance oriented all the way to cosmetic details. I've searched for the past week and come up with some items (mostly cosmetic) but most are "for sale" ads with little info. For example, people have the 4 lug and 5 lug Type R conversions for sale but don't list exactly what parts are needed, tips on successful conversions, the benefits of doing one (performance wise, if any), recommended wheel offsets and sizes for the new conversion etc. Any information, details, comparisons, pics, personal experiences, chassis codes, links to other threads, etc. would be appreciated. I did one for del sol's but now I need some help from the DC2 experts. Thanks for all of your help.

I found a thread with a how to on installing the JDM ITR front end but what parts are needed for this conversion? I know you need the hood, fenders, side markers, lights (HID or non-HID), bumper and front lip but what about the front radiator support, hood latch and cable (from a DA?) and are there any other parts needed?

Thanks

well most parts are going to fit as long as you stick with a normal trend. like your jdm parts can't all be accomidated due to the rhd factor. you can go EDM or even UKDM parts as wel. but it all depends on what you really want, do you like the 4 eye look or do you want to look like an accord, thats really up to you, if you choose to look like an accord, than the only route to go is to go jdm, edm, ukdm and usdm all have 4 circle lights.

but i mean, it really pends on your budget as well. you can go 4 bolt type r which is going to be 4x114 which came on the 96 spec r and than 98 spec r came with 5x114. if you want to look oem than there are tones and tones of parts for jdm, if you im me i'll send you a file of most parts that are available cosmetically for you. but if you do a search, you can actually find that part list, its on a word document.

How do other countries integras look that are non type R with a 98-01 USDM front?
So how would a UK GSR look or UK integra, except type R- Any pics

...also looking for 50 state legal forced induction kits. I know Greddy makes a turbo kit but it's 97-01 not 95 an Jackson makes a supercharger...anyone else?

I believe that the US and canada were some of the only few to get the round headlights for 98-01, in the UK and europe they had the sir-g bar head lights

Sorry for my eralier accident about the sir-g and si-vtec mix up everyone

you can find a greddy kit for the 94-95 integras, the only difference would possibly be the ecu management that they provice with the kit because ot the obd2 and obd1 differences because your integra is an odb1 model

I'm thinking the fuel management ecu would be the difference - the CARB E.O. lists gsr's back to 1993 so I'm wondering what the details are regarding installation/tuning on a 94 or 95 vs. an obd2 gsr.
