do motor mount inserts make a difference for launching and what else ?
They are good at reducing wheel hop. They are also good at transmitting unwanted vibration into the car's chassis, and thus you. I like my inserts (energy suspension), but they do increase the vibrations slightly.
i think the added vibration is worth the decreased wheel hop and overall better feel when shifting

I agree. The vibration is minimal, especially if you don't put the rear mount inserts in. It feels better shifting and revving since the motor stays in place better.

I had Energy mount inserts, and then Prothane in the other mount locations. This provided way too much vibration, but with just the ES inserts, it is just right. Definitely a good investment.
