Hey guys first off searched already and i found a lot of helpful post from mistabone , timmay , etc. but i never really found a straight answer, so i'm looking to do this "cam swap" over the weekend and i'm wondering what all is needed for the camshaft to run properly what i mean by that is
1) i know you need a Y7/Y8 cam gear, can you use the oem one ? i see everyone talking about adj. cam gears but will the oem work ? ...
2) I also read up theirs a belt difference between the a6 and b7 (106 teeth compared to 107 teeth, if i remember correctly) so my question is do i have to go out and by the a6 belt or is the b7 belt fine ?
well if you guys could get back to me bring your flames on i'm ready ...
or you guys could just be helpful ...
thanks in advance

lol use the d16y7/y8 cam gear and the a6 cam and set your ignition timing.
there's no need to change the timing belts, d15 block is shorter than the d16 block, so it has a shorter timing belt
