I don't know what is going on

Default I don't know what is going on

I have a 1991 civic cx and i always thought the rev limiter was 6800 but the rev limiter varies from 7200 to 7800. I think the computer is differnt (it does not have a chip) the code is x30 MG i dont know what is going on??????? Can you help me

i would chaulk it up to the inaccuracy of the oem tach @ high rpm, lol.

who knows then man, you're probably reading the wrong markings for the ecu model.. check the serial number xxxx - pm? - xxxx

Get a timing light and rev her till rev limiter and see what it is. A timing light is much more acurate for RPM then a tach...it runs of the juice going to the spark plug, how much more accurate do you want it to get.

The code on the computer is pm5 x30 and in big letters it says MG

cx is the standard in canada...but i think Honda of Canada is jacked cuz i have a dx motor in my cx (unless ther is no cx motor) and an oem sunroof. w/e tho..im not complaining
