if i got a intake for a d16z6 would it be the same as a intake for a b16? im thinking the width would be different. im planning to swap but if its the same part i might as well get it now..

 

u might be able to use it but AEM makes hybrid intakes now for specific motors in diff chassis

 

an intake is an intake if you're talking about short ram. if your talking cold air i would simply keep your stock air box put in a k&n filter take out the res on the bottom run a flexible hose to the front bumper and get an itr or b16 arm or just get a type r complete stock air box and arm and do the same.

you can use intakes from a z6,y8, all b16's, all b18's except the GSR...but if your talking about cold air im not too sure...but AEM does make the hybrids...but if your carb laws arent bad then stick stick with a cheap CAI but if you live in CA your fucked like me....haha...
