what is this and is it needed

i am putting a 2000 b18b into my 1995 and the engine didnt come with the circled thing. is it needed ? the 1995 intake mani is different and doesnt have it there so i cant steal it off there.

you should prob use your obd1(1995) intake manifold just to be on the safe side..

i dont want to ...... because i am using the obd2 engine harness.

that hose goes to the evap cannistor, from that sensor, are u still gonna use a obd2 ecu? if not then u can just leave that sensor pluged in.

like he said ^ BTW are you throwing any codes? if so, you should use your OBD1 harness. Also there should be an extra plug for that.
