I have an LS/VTEC in my dc2, few minutes ago, i started up the car after i went to bank, car was already warmed up and everything and, once it started up the idle drop down to like 200 or 300 rpm, like it was gonna die, then it was bouncing up and down from 200- 1000rpm, for couple secs, then car just turned off, started up the car, then did it again slighty but put some gas, then it was fine. Its not idling like that right now, but i kno it'll happen again, could i possibly have bad spark plugs?, or what could it be?. Thanks!

 

Could be plugs, but may be IACV or MAP.

 

clueless bout what the IACV or MAP is, friend told me might be the cap, rotor and coils?

 

iacv and map sensor have the same type of plug. Often times, people switched them by mistake and the car will symptoms like you.

 

hmm, ill have that checked out!, thanks anything else could it possibly be?
