B16A + T4/T61
Ok I can get a deal for a used t4/61 that inline pro sells. I plan on going 2.0l by the end of the winter but right now i can get a deal on the turbo and go ahead and run that for now and when it goes 2.0l then I already have a turbo thats going to do the job i want it to do. I want to tune my em1 for around 300whp right now on stock motor and im just wondering with the t61 where am i going to have it spool by? 5500? So if anyone has any clue please let me know

The T4/T61 should be full spooled by 5800-6000rpm on a 2.0l engine, but I hope that it's a drag engine, other wise you will need to rev the hell out of that engine to see adiquate boost. And that would'nt be a problem for drag racing, where your in the power rev range the entire time. So in my opinion, the T4/T61 is great for drag racing, and not for the street.
only plans for the car is to drag race/drive on the street from time to time.
right now its still the puny 1.6l and im wondering where it will spool on that?
if it dosnt spool till really late like 6k then ill get a gt32-55 for now untill the 2.0l is done and then switch manifolds/turbos

I just put a turbonetics To4E with A .58ar AND IM GETTING 8LBS AT 5600-5800 in 2nd gear with a LS tranny on my b16a2 and 8lbs at 5000 in 3rd gear ON THE NON VTEC LOB, havent tuned vtec yet waiting for some 1000ccs, car woke right up, also Engine is bone stock except GSR cams
