Default 99si turbo, best street legal way to get 260+ on stock motor

basicly just looking its all in the topic.
2 goals Keeping motor stock and keeping it reliable.

I live in Houston, TX. I am looking for 260+whp. I want to keet it all legal and be able to pass emissions yearly. So I think that means I cant run OBD1 ecu.. MayBe I am wrong?

What are my options?

Greddy kit with emanage? Are there any other options?
Custom kit, w/ emnage or something else?

thx
Ryan

yeah gotta keep those closed loop emissions **** in check. Hondas are very efficent motors and usually have no problem passing emissions. I think youll be ok, you could be screwed and live in california.

JRSC will get you close to that goal and still be CARB legal.

What engine is this anyways? I can't see a standard JRSC on a D series coming anywhere close to that even with the upgraded pulleys.

99si = b16? Isn't it illegal to swap motors other than the original one meant for the chassis in the first place?? I know it is in Cali......

Wrong, you can swap motors (as long as its a car motor, not a truck motor) from the same year and up. 2000 si can have a 2000 integra motor in it.

Edelbrock makes a turbo kit that passes emissions.. Check that out. Looks like it comes with an intakemani and injectors too. Not a bad deal for the price.

I doubt you'll make 260 to the wheels with that kit. Maybe if you get a bigger turbo and get crome or somthing for tuning. Then again that'll probably effect your emissions. Probably could with nitrous on top of it too. Just use it when you can and take it out when you go for emissions.. hell leave it in just don't use it when you do an E test

I'd say your best bet would be to run a JRSC and some giggle juice.

So what you're saying is that I can swap any motor into any car as long as the motor is a car motor of the same year or newer?? Interesting..............

A Greedy Kit might do the Trick, if u want to run E Manage, with a built motor and when u go to tune have a custom 3 inch downpipe made and boost that **** out of the 18g., just change the downpipe back to the stock one with a cat, it should pass, won't be that bad. when u go to smog.

Ur going to have to buy the Greedy Carb Legel Intercooler Kit as well, or fake stickers and go custom.

elbrock is coming out with a B series kit soon, if u want to wait.

The Edlebrock kit should be able to do 260whp no problem, it comes with a 28RS.
