just compression tested my b16a2 but am worried they are a bit low ,

1)199
2)190
3)180
4)190

every one else seems to be 200+ , and there is big difference from 3 and 1.
hoping to boost this engine soon

 

it should be fine. as long as there isn't a significant amount of difference (15+) among each its ok. I know 1 and 3 are almost 20psi off, but its relatively close with the others so it should be ok.

But you did do WOT when you did the test right?

 

yeah WOT , didnt pull the fuse just took all spark plugs out

 

I thought it was the 10% rule. Your pretty close to that. 3 seems pretty low, it is the one that always failed first on me.

 

My friend has a B16A3 and his compression was 140 all across. That's when you should be worried . 190 is good
