need help asap car won't start after sea foaming
will like i said my car doesn't start any more...the car died while sea foaming pouring in the brake booster.... it seems to be choking or no spark...and i have looked at the spark plugs already they seem fine...please i need help asap...hopefully i didn't flood my engine or so.....
Does the engine still turn over, or did it hydro-lock?
If it isn't hydrolocked, and the crank still spins the engine, I would try some starter fluid sprayed into the throttle bottle to help it fire up. Sounds like you poured too much too fast. Be prepared for alot of smoke.
If this doesn't work, check for spark then fuel and go from there.

yea i think so..will umm from checking on it again i can see that theirs a lot of carbon build up on my throttle body looks black and mooshy. Plus when i crank piston 2 and 4 has fuel on it and it looks like it's not sparking..so i think it could be my distributor...One more question?? How do you know if your engine went into hydrolocking???
If you just dumped the seafoam in there then your probably screwed... hydro locking your engine can actually bend rods and cause many other problems.
You're not suppose to pour it in unless you're pouring it in the gastank. You're suppose to unhook the brake booster and put it above the seafoam and it'll suck it up. little by little.

Its not hydrolocked then.
When you tried to restart it, did you have the throttle WIDE OPEN (gas pedal to the floor?) Sometimes you have to work the gas pedal pretty good (aka different throttle positions) to get the motor fired back up.

Obviously you have let it sit for a WHILE, so i dont think you will have a problem starting it up now. Just change your oil after you 1) started it up and 2) rev the hell out of it!
okay i found out that one of my friend did the same thing to his and his ignition coil broke on him so im just gonna replace my distributor...
