Actually yes.. there has been some benefit due to the slightly higher lift/duration. About 40whp on applications under 600whp. Let me know if you need a set.

Thank you, I already have a set. What amazes me, it is that gsr has just a little less lift than B16 and lobes are very similar

the lobes might seem similiar but when ran, totally different

the cams will make a noticeable difference. i had to go back to b16's from my gsrs and noticed a slight decrease in the ve of my motor

Friends of mine that have 1000whp civics say to use ITR cams and springs if you can get them, they provide the best results depending on how much power you want to make, and I hear some people are starting to go turbo with all motor cams to try and experiment a little bit, and it seems to be working if the tune is straight. I'm rocking ITR cams and springs and I like em' better than GSR cams in a turbo set up and I'm only making about 350whp right now. More boost later though 8-)

but you've a B18 (long stroke) my question is, gsr cams can work fine on B16 engine? (more duration/less stroke )

I didnt realize you could swap ITR springs and cams into the stock valvetrain without retainers and valves??

you would want the ITR retainers but dont need the valves.

Sry guys made that unclear, I've got IB spec retainers and springs too. stock valves and stock ITR cams.
