Default Cracked tranny on '99 Si

If it's not one thing it's another. I had just got done changing the oil and running some Seafoam through the motor I don't even get around the corner from my house before I hear a loud *bang*. I kill the motor instantly, thinking I threw a rod (again ) I go to yank it out of gear and shift effort is waaaaaaay up there. I get out and the transmission is puking it's guts all over the street. I push the car back to my driveway with the help of one of the neighbors, yank out the jackstands and jack that I had put away 10 minutes earlier, and get the car in the air to confirm. From what I can see there's a smallish crack on the bottom of the tranny case. I can't afford the downtime right now. I've got my son due in a week and a half and don't have the cash to spare on a tranny that may or may not work. What are my options here? I suppose I could JB Weld it and that would keep it from leaking but more than likely something is wrong internally. What could have caused this? I didn't hit anything and I wasn't driving hard or fast at the time. HELP!

Well if something exploded in the trans I doubt JB weld is going to any kind of a temp fix.
