Default need to know if my pressure plate is bad or my transmission is bad

need ht members help, my car wont move, it start but wont move, i think its the clutch, but not to sure, when i start the car it wont go into any gears, feels like something jammed in there, but when the car is off its goes in to gear fine ....i tried to put it in gear and start it but it would start for like a second and die, and it would get stuck in gear, and is really hard to get out.......so my question is .....it my clutch or tranny...
any info would be great..... please help

not really sure but . i would lean more on ur clutch. did u do a clutch job on it or it just started doing it ?if u didnt . then againm ight be ur tranny went bad.?. but try the easy things first been ur clutch

i had the same exact problem, the throw out bearing was *******. when the car was off it would go into every gear, turn the car on and it wouldnt go into ANY gear. sometimes it did but grinded . definitly is a clutch related problem

took the tranny off today and a piece that holds the spring on the clutch broke off....problem sovled................thanks ht memeber for all your info
