well guys i went to the track last sunday and made a street tire pass. then put on the slicks and got a good launch but when i got into 2nd gear it started studdering, missing, and poping all the way down the track. i have replaced= Dizzy, cap, and rotor, swapped map sensors, the plug wires were changed just a week before this so i`m guessing they are good. checked the plugs *did not change them* and they look ok...just wondering what else it could be. i`m out of ideas

 

any input will be helpful.....

 

well we found the problem. the resistor box went to ****. bought some RC injectors and wired them strait in so no more resistor box didnt need it anyways b/c i have a p28. that problem is fixed. but now i have a code 4 which is the crank position sensor. the wires from the o2 sensor was resting on the exhaust which caused them to melt and short out the crank sensor i`m guessing!
