Default SC, Clutch, Flywheel, and Tranny install in time for Expo ! NO 56k

Big thanks to Jim, Jeff and John for all the blood sweat and tears put into helping me install all of the go fast goodies. As you guys know, I would not have been able to do it without your help.

now for the pics

Here are a few of the newly acquired goodies: Install day 1
Exedy 9lb Chromoly Flywheel
Action stage 2md 6 puck unsprung clutch

Install "Weekend" 2
Hondata IM gasket
Hondata S200
Walbro high flow fuel pump
RC 440cc Injectors
Jackson Racing supercharger kit (9psi pulley)
New Transmission (and swapped the casings due to breaking the new one)

And finally, some of the carnage

All this was before the rest of the bad luck kicked in... (breaking down on the way home and then trying to get the car tuned)

7 days now and still no VTEC or Boost.
If you haven't read about the horrific tuning experience, check it out here:

How did you guys destroy ur tranny casing ?

Your IATs are going to be up there without a cooling system

Sorry to hear abour ur tuning experience, I would have flipped out. You should have drove down to FLA and had me tune it

what do you mean?

As I was putting in the bolts to the tranny, the raised portion in the casing of the tranny just exploded. I really don't know how that happened.

I don't understand what you mean ?? why?

I have never seen a tranny casing crack like that.

Don't take this in a negative way....

Concerning Intake Air Temperatures. Think about the cooling properties of a stock JRSC kit. Every single jrsc car I have street tuned or dyno tuned has had very hot IAT temperatures.

There is a couple of companies which make cooling kits, but I have yet to see how effective they.

75% of the tuning customers I have experience belt issues with their jrsc kit.

IMO, you would have been much better off with a fullrace gt28rs setup, cometic headgasket & real tuning

I did install the Hondata IM gasket.

From what I have read, yes, the intake temps will be higher with the supercharger kit. However, an intercooler system is not very efficient on supercharger setups. With every setup there are good and bad things, but I am sure I will be satisfied with the way it is now.

I just need it tuned now

Good luck with the setup.

I would be very picky when it came to a tuner with that kind of setup.
(High cr on oem internals, high iats on boost)

I hope you can find some one who knows their **** local to you.

thats the problem... there is NOBODY local that anyone trusts. That is why I drove 5 hours to Tulsa, OK, and we saw how that turned out.

Yup, yup.... 8psi Jackson over a 9 psi FR GT Stage I (same car before/after)

P.S. Keep an eye on your belts and make sure your tuner makes the correct changes in the IAT temp versus fuel/timing tables.

Have you spoken the Brad (mythias) He's very knowledgable when it comes to JRSC setups. Also, there is a great intercooler system that is not known by many. It's made by LHT performance. You should check them out at http://www.lhtperformance.net

This page has their intake setup.

HTH.
