Default Shopping for CD players - need some input

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy cd/mp3 player for my sister's car.

I personally have a pioneer DEH 7700MP and i love it.

She has some DEI alarm speakers that came with the car and were looking for something that will do just her good.

Had an old panosonic in there before it got stolen and sound quality wasn't that great.

We are are really looking at DEH P6800 MP and Eclipse CD 4000

Few mins ago I noticed that the eclilpse is under HD receivers. I haven't hard of HD units before and was wondering what that is.

Would you guys have any other recommendations? We live in SC, so the stores don't have that much to pick and choose from.

Also, between those 2 ,which would you pick and why?

Thanks in advance.

Of the 2, IMO the Pioneer is a better bet, HD = hard drive I think.

Have you looked at Alpine HU? 94

i agree pioneer or alpine, if ur gonna install it urself hit up ebay, also alpine is having a very sweet deal right now when u buy an ipod ready headunit. just go to a authorized retailer from them and they give u a free ipod adaptor with it, s u save urself 30 bux in the process of buying a new unit and who doesnt have an ipod now-a-days so just a thought. i have a cde-9852 and love it.
