Default valves h23

after cracking the head open of my project motor i got a lovely round suprise in my fourth cylinder a broken valve just another stepping stone in my build up but yeah getting to the point ive decided to just replace the pistons and valve train. so what would be a good choice for the valves and piston in a happy medium price range ?

titanium is the way to go. not very cash flow-friendly but durable, thats what i get for reading through some forums.

did u buy this motor or was it in ur car?
what are your plans/goals for power numbers when its said and done?

Saving the beans buy OEM honda valves, retainers, seals, guides. (save morre $ buy the retainers and valves used EBAY!) THEN buy ANY high performance valve spring set both intake and exhaust.

Bottom end: If your planning on more HP all motaa:
Any leading brand pistons 13:1 compression: wiesco, JE, With stock h22 rods

Because it isn't like a small block Chevy where badass parts are cheap and widely available because they've been around for so long. Honda (H23 especially) parts are more rare and expensive compared to many other engines.

If you want good stuff you have to pay for it....if you're on a budget you'll get budget parts which are usually a waste of your time and money. Supertech valves are good and for pistons, first you need to decide what your goals are for this project...

That right there shows you need to do more research....

titanium valves have a lifecycle of ~25 hrs. race use only.

h22 valves do not fit the h23 non-vtec.
Supertech has h23 valves
