how do i tell if its an SH???

Default how do i tell if its an SH???

this kid has an h22a4 swap for sale and i wanna put it in my civic, but everyone syas stay away from the SH motor/swap. how do i tell the difference, and ... what is the difference?????????

look at the back of the block.



if it doesnt look like that. its an SH motor

Correct..On the SH, the oil filter sits upward at an angle, and the Base sits straight out

SH has ATTS and will require a modified half-shaft to use a base/jdm transmission.

True, but it also requires a little more... he would need a plate to cover the ATTS mounting holes on the back of the block

H22A4 is '97+ USDM
