Solid CEL question (JDM)
So I've been up all night getting super pissed still about the rex not working.
Now as I've said in a lot of other posts, the car runs like ****, super rich, bogging, timing needs to be way advanced to start it, etc etc. There are no longer any codes... BUT when I have the service connector jumped I get a solid CEL. I did have codes before for the VTEC pressure switch (wired that up) coolant temp sensor (forgot to plug it in originally), and the heater for the O2 (installed my 4wire recently). I don't have any more codes, that is, when I turn it on with the jumper not connected there is NO check light. So from what I've heard about this "limp mode" I think I could be in it? The ECU is retarding timing so I have to have it way advanced to start maybe? It would possibly explain the running like **** and also the CEL?
Any thoughts guys?
