so my friends car just got broken in and they took his ecu and the greddy emange and now hes running p28 ecu for his h22a and vtec wont kick in, is it because of the ecu or the emanage, or could it be both?

wel wen my hatch got stolen they jaked my ecu too n wen i put in the new ecu vtec wuldnt kik in either.but what was wromg on mine is dat i had the vtec wired 4m da ecu to the motor n they cut dat wire.not sure if this ganna help u,but jus thought id say it

is it a virgin P28 or has it been chipped? do you know? someone may have hacked it already and screwed up the settings....
