(Another) OBD1 - OBD2 Conversion Q
Did some searching on here and many other forums, but can't quite figure out exactly what needs to be done.
We are looking at swapping a 1995 B18C1 motor into a 1997 Civic CX hatch. We know that we need to use the CX harness, and that we need to get a conversion harness so that the engine harness will plug into the ECU. We know about having to wire in the knock sensor, VTEC wiring, and the injector clips. Is there anything else that needs to be done for this swap to go over correctly?
We would like to be able to use either the CX harness, or a mixture of the CX/DC harness if possible. Any wiring diagrams and past expiriences will help a ton.
Thanks.

get a obd2a p72 and you wont need a jumper harness for the ecu...easy way to do ur engine harness is lay both the harness out and mark each sensor then modify if needed n plug the cx harnss on the motot...u cant use the b18c harness...if u r goin to run a obd2a jdm ecu, u wont need to hook up the CFK (crank fluctuation sensor) but if u run a US then yes u do or u will throw a code..u r goin to need a 99-00 SI driver side bracket and a "L" bracket...
