Can I use a obd2b to obd1 jumper harness on 94 CX hatch with 97 GSR Harness??
Need some input. I got a 1994 Honda Civic CX with a b16a2 and a 97 GSR harness. Can I use a obd2b to obd1 ecu jumper harness or do I need a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness? I got a obd2b jumper harness from rywire but never opened it cause I think I ordered the wrong one.

Just use your harness (cx) and add wiring for VTEC and knock, no need for a jumper harness.

Well I heard that if I used the stock CX harness I would have to wire in Vtec, knock and do something with the o2 sensor. I thought I could use the em1 harness so I ordered the obd2b jumper but I found out I cant so I sent an email to rywire asking if I can return the jumper for a obd2a one. I just bought a 97 GSR harness so I pretty much need the obd2a and Im set.

Dude, wiring in for Vtec and Knock is as easy as pinning and running for THREE plugs. Sell the harness and make it easy for yourself. You're making it way too complicated.

Well basically I don't have a obd1 Dizzy which is causing problems and thats the reason why I need a the GSR harness. So I am returning the obd2b to rywire and getting a obd2a one and I should be set. I should of done some more research before swapping but everyone ****s up.

You don't need a jumper harness at all. The 97 gsr engine harness will plug directly into your chassis. Wire VTEC, Knock, and IAB to the shock tower plug from the ECU and OBD1 ECU and your set.

I wasn't dissing what everyone was saying, I was saying that I ****ed up by assuming that stuff should work but it doesn't so I ****ed up for not researching and finding out what I needed for this to work. But I do thank everyone for giving good info.
