Crower Stage 1 or 2 Cams?
I'm having a hard time debating which cams I want for my car. I know that with the Stage 2's I'll need to upgrade my valvetrain.. which I really dont wanna do right now, but I've heard that the Stage 1's only make around 10whp with a good tune.
This is my daily driver so I need some reliability, but still want some decent power out of a good set of cams. Somewhere down the road I'll probably also be getting an RMF header along with a phearable.net p28 ecu and tune it with Hondata s200. Soo pretty much I'm asking is if Stage 1's are fine enough, or just to get Stage 2's? BTW this is for an h22...
Give me your input
Thanks

If i were you i would go with the stage 2's and springs and retainers. they will not cause any problems if the car is tuned right cause if i remember these are street strip cams. the stage 1's are actually a stock profile cam with a little bit bigger Vtec lobes pry not worth the money in power gain.
Crower makes two stage 2 cams, one of them with stock idle lobes. Those would have no problems with e-testing. I bet the non-stock stage 2 cams could also be tuned to pass, but I think you have to have a OBD2 ECU in when you e-test, which could be a problem.
Yeah.. the stage 2's I were looking at were the ones with the stock idle lobes. I dont have a problem swapping back in my obd2 ecu when it comes time for e-testing (I will eventually be obd1), I just need to make sure that the cams will pass.
