Hello everyone

I just wanted to ask you guys, the pros. I am interested on a gt35r but I dont know if whether or not to go with a .82 or .63 I have a b16 with cp low compresion pistons 9:0:1 crower rods fully built head stock bore block, just wanted to know if with the:
.83 its going to feel pretty powerless in the lower rpm range needing a 50 shot
or
.63 ripping up the tires up and going out of control

help please before I waste the money I want to make a wise investment

what are your goals? are you daily driving this setup? i would suggest the .63 if your not aiming for the stars, good spool and great amount of power.

 

I am looking for it to be a daily driver and some weekends at the track and to deal with some rivals

 

I really dont think .63 is going to "rip the tires loose" compared to the 82. I think if your power goals are anything less than 550hp you should go with something smaller like a GT30.

 

I agree with the above posts, you won't be ripping up the tires fighting off the boost just because you are running a .63 turbine hsg. GT30R would probably be better for a b16.

 

well my mechanic says that 500 or so is doable tuned with my microtech my fear is how much can I push a b16 std block

 

Even the GT3040(GT30/GT40) would be a good choice, as it supports the same HP levels as the GT35R with a bit faster spool up time(about 1000RPM's). The GT3040 shares the same GT40 Compressor wheel as the GT35R but runs the smaller 60mm w/84 trim turbine wheel from the GT30R, I sell alot of these spec turbos, to S2000 people as well as the B16 and B18

These turbos can suport about 600HP! more than enough pressure to have some fum with, and cheaper than the GT35R..
