obd1 conversion...is it even worth it?
if you dont know the benifits of obd1, then you have not done any reading into the subject. before you ask a question like that, know your material, and then, if you are still unsure, ask.
Enables running different ecus and therefore more engine management programs are available. OBD1 also helps with emissions and uses newer electronics which are easier to source when they break.
just so u know the ecu reaspons better to mods, so u get a move power better fuel mix
vtec works way better and must because there not a sohc vtec ecu for 88-91

It may make it run better or if you are getting into heavy mods and need a high end engine management system you would most likely have to convert to OBD1.

a good ecu to use when considering going obd1 is a P28 ecu cause it's has no use of a knock sensor input and are very reliable for tunning it trully pays off in almost any setup ls-vtec will benefit from it

I converted my hatch over to obd1. I used to have the "famous b16 hesitation" after I converted my car over it went away and the car runs a lot better.
